i don't really know what this is.
i have a final in this class in a few hours, so naturally i wasted an hour doodling on one of the problem sheets.
it was a very wise, well-thought-out decision because i can totally still make out what everything says.

i enjoyed dash shaws take on Doctor Strange. it is a shame that marvel, or dc, won't let artist like that draw comics more often. anytime an indie artist works on a mainstream comic it is usually a oneshot. it more guys with unquie stlyes were allowed to work on different characters it might be more fun to read them. it gets boring seeing the same old "house style" all the time. |

here is a panel from a page i did today. it's a weird one i'm sure. basically the character Comic Book Page is talking about what goes into a superhero comic. then the panel is him actully drawing the panel. I tried by best to make it look there was pencil lines and he was going over it in ink. i think it turned out pretty well. |

i'm working on redrawing this page. i don't really like the original version that much. it tried using a brush to draw the straight lines and they didn't come out the way i wanted. when i did the next page i drew the straight lines with a nib and liked it much better. so i'm redrawing this page to look more like the other pages. |
